Last year saw the launch of the New England RailsCamp series in Bryant Pond, Maine with a full house of Rails developers. This is the now the third NE RailsCamp (the second was in RI) and it’s local to us!

The idea of a RailsCamp is that you bring your computer for the weekend. A group of up to about 30 people hide themselves away from the world for a few days and get immersed in Rails. Bring your favorite project to show off. Bring your questions for answers. Bring your bright ideas for tips on how to make them real.

Want to learn more about Rails 3? Probably a good place to do that. Unclear on how TDD (Test Driven Development) should flow? Wonder about Sinatra, using SQLite, CouchDB, or a million other things related to Rails? Come to RailsCamp and learn from other Rails developers.

The dates are from Sept. 10 about 6:00 PM until Sept. 13 10:00 AM. While you can arrive late and leave early you may not want to miss out on anything! The cost for this whole thing? Just $140. Try to stay anyplace for a whole weekend at that price! To register just head on over to http://rcne3.eventbrite.com/

Even though the event description is not very helpful, Dan’s past experience indicate that it will be a great opportunity to learn and meet other Rails developers in the area. I am coming!
